Mason Mount made his Manchester United debut in our 2-0 win over Leeds to start the pre-season, in a game where Kobbie Mainoo showed just how good he is at the age of 18 in midfield.
Noam Emeram and Joe Hugill’s goals in the second half gave United the win but today was more about match fitness, sharpness and in-game patterns and Erik ten Hag will be delighted with what he saw.
What’s your biggest talking point after that game? Didn’t think I’d enjoy watching United so soon after the end of last season…I was wrong, I did!
